Large Feather Crystal Palm Candle Wax
Extracted from palm fruit, this palm wax develops distinctive feather-shaped crystalline patterns as it solidifies, earning it the name 'large ice flower' wax. It has a melting point of 58°C and a suggested pouring temperature of around 98°C.
The crystal pattern forms best within a crystallization range of 88-96°C; pouring above 100°C produces a much fainter pattern, while pouring below 62°C introduces horizontal banding instead of the intended crystal texture.
It is compatible with acrylic, aluminum, and silicone molds, though aluminum molds tend to bring out the crystalline pattern most clearly, making this wax a favorite for decorative, texture-driven shaped candles.
