Yellow Beeswax Candle Wax

This naturally extracted, additive-free yellow beeswax retains its characteristic golden color and a gentle natural honey fragrance. It is granular in form, melts at 60°C, and is poured at 80-85°C, accepting up to 10% fragrance oil.

Its natural flexibility suits the same range of applications as white beeswax—lace candles, hand-formed beeswax flowers, and traditional hand-rolled candlework—making it ideal for projects requiring pliable, bendable wax.

Because color and whiteness are not concerns for this variant, it works particularly well for rustic or naturally-toned candle art where the warm yellow hue and subtle honey scent are considered desirable rather than something to mask.

Storage Store candles in a cool, dark, and dry place. Excessive heat or direct sunlight may cause the candle surface to melt, which can affect the scent throw and result in insufficient fragrance release when lit.
Lighting Before lighting the candle, trim the wick to 5–8 mm. During the first burn, allow it to burn continuously for 2–3 hours. Candles develop a "burn memory" — if the first burn does not melt the wax evenly around the wick, the candle will continue to burn only in a narrow tunnel around the wick afterward.
Extending Burn Time Keep the wick trimmed to 5–8 mm. Trimming helps the candle burn evenly, prevents black smoke, and reduces soot on the candle container. Each burn session should last at least 2 hours but no longer than 4 hours. For longer use, extinguish the candle every 4 hours, trim the wick back to 5 mm, and relight it.
Extinguishing the Candle Never blow out a candle with your mouth, as this can damage the candle, produce black smoke, and turn the pleasant fragrance into an unpleasant smoky odor. Instead, use a candle snuffer or a wick dipper to submerge the wick into the melted wax. Stop burning the candle when less than 2 cm of wax remains to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of the container cracking.
Important Notes Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep lit candles out of reach of children and pets. Protect your furniture — candles become very hot after about 3 hours of burning, so avoid placing them directly on furniture. The candle lid can be used as a heat-resistant coaster.
