Cross Wooden Candle Wick with Metal Base

The Cross Wooden Candle Wick with Metal Base is designed to provide a stable, elegant burning experience for handmade candles. Made from natural wood, the wick produces a gentle crackling sound when burning, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere similar to a small fireplace. The cross-structured wooden design increases the flame surface area, allowing candles to burn more evenly and efficiently compared to single-strip wooden wicks.

Equipped with a sturdy metal base, the Cross Wooden Candle Wick with Metal Base is easy to install and keeps the wick upright during candle pouring and cooling. The base helps secure the wick firmly at the bottom of the container, ensuring consistent positioning and improved safety. This design simplifies the candle-making process and helps both beginners and professionals achieve cleaner results.

The Cross Wooden Candle Wick with Metal Base is suitable for a variety of candle diameters and wax types, including soy wax, paraffin wax, and blended waxes. Its versatile structure supports strong flame performance and balanced wax consumption, making it ideal for container candles used in home décor, aromatherapy candles, and handmade gift candles.

Candle Care Guide
Storage Store candles in a cool, dark, and dry place. Excessive heat or direct sunlight may cause the candle surface to melt, which can affect the scent throw and result in insufficient fragrance release when lit.
Lighting Before lighting the candle, trim the wick to 5–8 mm. During the first burn, allow it to burn continuously for 2–3 hours. Candles develop a "burn memory" — if the first burn does not melt the wax evenly around the wick, the candle will continue to burn only in a narrow tunnel around the wick afterward.
Extending Burn Time Keep the wick trimmed to 5–8 mm. Trimming helps the candle burn evenly, prevents black smoke, and reduces soot on the candle container. Each burn session should last at least 2 hours but no longer than 4 hours. For longer use, extinguish the candle every 4 hours, trim the wick back to 5 mm, and relight it.
Extinguishing the Candle Never blow out a candle with your mouth, as this can damage the candle, produce black smoke, and turn the pleasant fragrance into an unpleasant smoky odor. Instead, use a candle snuffer or a wick dipper to submerge the wick into the melted wax. Stop burning the candle when less than 2 cm of wax remains to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of the container cracking.
Important Notes Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep lit candles out of reach of children and pets. Protect your furniture — candles become very hot after about 3 hours of burning, so avoid placing them directly on furniture. The candle lid can be used as a heat-resistant coaster.
